In Canada schools have a Professional Activity day almost every month which means no school. What it means for us is that we have the opportunity to have a Grand Day!
We start with Finnish Pancakes and try our best to slip fruit into breakfast as well. Then homemade pizza for lunch. Both meals are always a hit.
Last Friday was a Grand Day, with fun activities inside and outside!
These little ones really love all of the crafts and supplies that I have on hand. The girls worked together on their projects while Grayson enjoyed having the girls otherwise occupied and spent most of the day outside with Pappa. (He did come inside and did a little crafting too)
The girls also spent time in my sewing room planning projects and snipping fabrics.
I have a pair of embroidery scissors that were a very special gift given to me that both girls love to use. They are small and sharp and pretty.
Kaija asked if I might get her a pair for Christmas along with a package of pipe cleaners 😊 Minka thought that was a great idea as well.
Spending time with our Grandchildren fills my heart with joy! They hold so much excitement for life and truly remind their Grandparents how much fun life should be. 💗
