Brrrrr

It’s not officially winter, I don’t mind the snow, it’s actually pretty but who said we needed to be plunged into the deep freeze? Hopefully we will be spared the unbearable cold windchill weather over the holidays!

Life as usual is hectic, full and busy. One of my quilt job finishes includes this police patch quilt using 82 different patches and the state colours of West Virginia. It now resides in Florida.

Speaking of southern states, my daughter, Son in Law and 3 1/2 yr old grandsons will be here for Christmas!!

My grandson Liam celebrated turning two by adding at least 50 vehicles to his fleet!

  1. This is beautiful! My husband just gave me an envelope full of patches and I don’t even know where to start.

  2. I’ve been looking for a good pattern to do this! I have over 100 patches that were my BIL’s collection. My sister would love a quilt made with them. Can you share the size of the blocks/pieces you made the base with? Or the pattern you started with? I haven’t seen any that are as beautiful as this and I’d like to replicate it when I make mine. Thanks you!

  3. Love your quilt. I made one for Blue Knights, motorcycle police, blue and black and gray in June for a fund raiser here in Colorado, small with only 30+ badges. I’m working on one now for our National Park patches collected over the last 30 years.

  4. I am looking for a police quilt like the one listed at the top. Do you make these if the patches were supplied? If you can give me a price it would be appreciated.
    Thanks
